  • Memorandum of cooperation with the company VIORYL SA (Chemical & Agricultural Industry-Research) (03/04/2012 until today) (decision of the Research Committee of TEI of Larissa 112 / 03-04-2012). Development of research programs and works on the topics: I) Analysis of natural extracts (eg essential oils), II) Development of new food products, III) Measurement of resistance of fats to oxidation, IV) Measurement of pesticide residues, V) Determination of heavy metals, VI) Determination of aflatoxin content, VII) Determination of nutrient content (eg vitamins), VIII) Creation of functional foods with emphasis on microencapsulation of bioactive ingredients, IX) Management and utilization of waste food industries to create value-added products, X ) Increase the shelf life and improve the bioactivity of micronutrients in food by adding extracts of natural products, XI) Optimization of bioavailability of vitamins and minerals and XII) Assessment of chemical and biological hazards in food, detection and identification of allergens in products.   • Memorandum of cooperation with the company of the Agricultural Cooperative of Karditsa Farmers “The New Union” (29/06/2015 until today) (decision of the Research Committee of TEI of Thessaly 45 / 25-06-2015). Development of research programs and works on I) Presentation of the action plans of the beneficiaries. II) Cooperation of the beneficiaries and involvement of the local, social, productive and research bodies of the region. III) Organization of a conference during which the progress of the actions of the Development Partnership, the monitoring system of the beneficiaries will be presented and the desired results will be analyzed for both the beneficiaries and the companies.
